TaperT and Simploc components are NOT LIFTING DEVICES!
Do not use the TaperT or Simploc components to hoist loads, in structures that support loads or lift living things.
Always keep machine guarding in place. Do not defeat guard locks or switches.
Parts can be violently ejected from these or any clamping device when overloaded.
It is the users’ responsibility to ensure the application of clamping forces are sufficient and properly distributed to securely hold the workpiece in place.
Dynamic loads during machining can be many times the expected static load.
Forgetting to tighten clamps or failing to tighten a clamp sufficiently will result in parts being ejected from clamps.
Always use caution, stand clear of likely debris paths and properly utilize machine guarding when using TaperT and Simploc components – be especially cautious when testing programs or in other situations where unforeseen loads may be applied.

The components are precisely machined but are not precision ground. These modular devices work well for routine machining projects. They are not intended for highly precise work.
